Samantha is a 10 inches tall (26 cm) teddy bear made of a dense foxy Steiff Schulte mohair. She is 5-way cotterpin jointed, filled with polyfill, and weighted with mineral pellets. Her eyes are 10 mm black german glass highlighted by brown eyelashes, her muzzle and eyelids were needle felted using ivory merino wool and sealed with acrylic varnish (which protects and hardens wool felt). Her nose was needle felted, waxed and glossed. Samantha has matching cashmere paw pads with inserted thread sculpted toes (trapunto toes). She wears a hand crafted black felt witch hat and a cashmere cloak decorated with a silver spider.
